Venue Hire - re-opening soon!
At the moment we are allowing a maximum of 10 people in the building at any one time. This includes staff and volunteers.
Once we re-commence venue hire, there will be restricted numbers to minimise the potential spread of COVID-19.
Notice: By entering our premises, you acknowledge that an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any place where people are present, and you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 and agree not to hold Mount Isa Family Support Service & Neighbourhood Centre Inc. liable for any illness or injury suffered by you or people close to you as a result.
With funding for Emergency Relief from the Queensland Government, we are able to offer basic takeaway brekky packs to those most in need. Includes: cereal, milk, and sweetener, with bowl, spoon and napkin; juice; muesli bar; banana muffin, and cheese stick.
Our small but useful library of resources available for loan to clients and other services is now in operation. Just ask our friendly staff!
If you have been homeless and are about to move into a home, please ask your worker to refer you for this program! We can provide you with a sofa-bed, dining setting, entertainment unit, coffee table, fridge and washing machine.
Thanks to Centacare North Queensland for arranging freight, and Foodbank, we have a limited number of Covid-19 Relief Hampers for people in need. Phone us on 4743 4506 or email for delivery to your home!
